I am a senior manager with over 20 years of experience driving turnarounds and growth for process
manufacturing organizations. Building corporate value is my expertise. Whether challenged to drive product
development, introduce process improvements or revamp quality and manufacturing teams.
I have consistently delivered strong and sustainable results.
Key accomplishments include:
• Currently starting up a Polyester C-Pet resin polymerization CP unit and stabilizing a new PET production
line while implementing production and process systems such as Lean, Kaizen, SPC, LOTO, 6S, AIB / ISO and
CBM programs to improve operations and better serve our customers. Successfully brought on-line and into
commercial production the new film line in the first day of operation.
• Conducted site surveys and incentive negotiations at State levels for a New Greenfield polyester film
plant construction and start-up located in Decatur, Alabama. Acquired all State and Federal permits. Actively
organized, resolved and led project teams for all design and construction issues. Handled specific installation
projects outside the GC responsibility to save time and money by developing Bid packages, selecting Sub-
Contractors and overseeing complete installation. Completed start-up of Green-field plant and continue to drive
process improvements and equipment modifications to maximize efficiency and profit.
• Changing production flow and processes at SKC to create a pull type production system and to
debottleneck the shop floor process, which transformed the firm from losing $30 million a year to earning a
profit of $10 million in three years.
• Resolving a problem for Kodak with a film that was causing x-ray failures which became so successful
that at one point accounted for 30% of SKC’s plant volume.
• Implementing a statistical process control methodology on the shop floor at International Paper which
reduced variation in products produced and decreased roll failure rates from 7% to 0.5% within a few years.
• Utilizing a design of experiments approach to identify and fix a component that was causing circuit board
failures in radar jamming devices during aerial combat but not during quality control testing at GE
• Developed a product for Westinghouse to compete with General Electric circuit boards, which reclaimed
market share from a major competitor.
I am interested in exploring opportunities with your firm. I will contact you soon to confirm that you have
received this information. In the meantime please feel free to contact me at 256-***-**** or at

Additional I have over 20 years of experience managing turnarounds and growing industrial
Information: manufacturing companies. Currently involved in the process of bringing an India based
company (Polyplex) to the USA. Site selection, Incentive negotiation, Permitting,
Design, Construction, Hiring, Training etc.. Previously held a position as a Senior
Business Executive with SKC, Inc., a manufacturer of Polyester film for the packaging
snack food market and industrial LCD TV and other similar markets. I was successful at
turning around a $30 million annual loss for SKC to a $10 million a year profit by
reengineering the production process flow and resolving key product issues. In
particular I resolved the product development issue for Kodak, a customer that ended up
accounting for over 30% of the plants volume. Prior to SKC, I held management roles
with International Paper and General Electric Plastics Business Group (now Sabic). My
expertise is developing and implementing strategic plans utilizing lean and statistical
techniques and turning around underperforming business units. I have a Bachelor’s
degree in Chemical Engineering, and I’ve held certifications as a Six Sigma Black belt,
Quality Engineer and ISO Auditor. I am interested in exploring opportunities where I
can play a similar role, leading a turn-around or managing a business unit.
