My daily duties require me to assess the job, excavate and repair the job. I run all heavy equipment and

drive all types of vehicles (cars, trucks, combination). I have to communicate well with other employees

as well as the public. I repair and maintain the city’s sewer system and assist supervisor with daily duties

(such as job assignments and daily reports). Working for the City of Winter Park FL. In the last 3 years I

have acquired my State of FL. Wastewater C, Wastewater B, Water Distribution III, and State of Ohio

Wastewater Collections II.

I started off in the Street Dept. where I performed labor duties. As well as driving dump trucks on the

daily basis for hauling and snow removal. 3yrs.

I transferred to the Sewer Dept. where I became a utility worker but quickly was asked to work out of

grade as a sewer repair man most of the time. I performed many tasks such as running the variety of

sewer cleaners, recording the sewer system with a tracker camera for sewers. As well as run heavy

equipment for excavating, and customer service.

I transferred to the meter division and became a Service Rep. My duties where to install water meters,

Radio Frequency readers, repair or trouble shoot meters, or reading problems, read meters, turn water

services on or off as needed.
