Formerly MKS Ion Systems, purchased by ITW’s Simco Division in 2010. Leading supplier of ionization

equipment for semiconductor, disk drive, flat panel display, and general electronics assembly industries.

Manage overall operational functions associated with production, global supply chain management,

inventory management, sales and operational planning, manufacturing engineering, planning, facilities,

shipping/receiving, warehousing, quality assurance, and safety and environmental compliance, leading a

team of up to 10 direct reports in addition to 35-40 indirectly in factories in Alameda and China producing

approximately $40M in revenue.

• Recruited by MKS to overhaul Alameda operations, drove Lean Manufacturing processes and in only

two years, boosted attainment of on-time delivery from 70% to 98%, reduced lead times, and doubled

inventory turns.

• Oversaw extensively outsourced production model in China, Taiwan, and Malaysia which generated
