PROFILE
I am a biological science student seeking an organisation that is able to provide a
structured and comprehensive programme leading to Fellowship of the Institute of
Science.
I have proven analytical, interpersonal and technical aptitudes and possess sound commercial awareness. I
am proactive and highly focused with strong investigative skills, an analytical and logical approach to
problem solving and am adept at handling and interpreting data.

Centre, Kona- Odumasi
Duties involved the production of all male tilapia fingerlings, catfish fingerlings,
collecting and handling data as well as sales and records keeping.
Summer 2011, CSIR-ARDEC Akosombo (Internship)
Duties involved hatchery management, feed processing and harvesting of fish.
Summer 2010 and 2009, Kwadaso S.D.A. Hospital- Laboratory (Internship)
Duties involved blood sample taking, test processing, interpreting data and keeping
records of patients.
August 2007- July 2008, National Health Insurance Scheme (Agent)
Duties included convincing and advising people on the benefits of the scheme as
well as registration of persons into the scheme.
Other jobs also included: teaching in a private institution, voluntary service in an
AIDS awareness survey, and Next retail (Sales Assistant).
All of my work experiences have involved working within a team-based culture.
This involved planning, organization, co-ordination and commitment e.g., in retail,
this ensured daily sales targets were met, a fair distribution of tasks and effective
communication amongst all staff members. Work experience also gained at the
hospital laboratory and the Insurance Centre helped boost my human relationship.
SKILLS
I take pride in my work and aim for my highest possible

standard. I made the various jobs that I have had enjoyable
by setting myself high standards of cleanliness, speed and
accuracy.
My previous works, especially ARDEC and Pilot were jobs

with high emphasis on teamwork. At the hospital I often ran
the lab, which involved me taking the initiative and learning to
co operate with different types of people. I also enjoyed
regularly representing my school as part of the Football
Team.
I learned to establish effective working relationships quickly

with people, often very different to me, in the variety of jobs
that I have taken on. I have played some sessions as a
secretary in both school and church, which gave me
confidence in communicating with large groups. The till work
I have done has developed my communication skills with
customers in a wide range of moods!
I have always been a keen learner, and have picked up new

systems quickly in my various jobs. I like the way
mathematics fits together and I am enjoying learning how real
life problems can be solved with mathematical models. I have
always found any new knowledge or skill interesting.
Problem solving I have a questioning and determined attitude to problems. I
would describe myself as a creative and passionate
mathematician and biologist: once a topic captures my
interest I am quick to grasp it and I will question methods and
look for new strategies.
Computing skills Competent using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, email
& other I.T. applications. I also have knowledge of both
windows 7 and 8.
I NTERESTS
At school I have always been a member of the football and volley ball team. I
continued my involvement in volley at university, representing my affiliated hall
twice.
I still represent my church in both football and volley ball. The latter involved
participating in activities, such as district games and raising money for charity
events, for example, in Youth week.
