Project / Bid Manager and Coordinator with extensive experience in the

Industrial and Power Generation industry. Bids and proposals management

experience ranges from plant instrumentation and controls sales and service

to the construction and erection of major equipment including boilers and

HRSGs. Significant experience developing and presenting detailed proposals

including risk mitigation strategies, performing and coordinating estimates

for materials and labor, and developing logistics for installation and

service bids associated with combined cycle power plants and coal-fired

power plants.

Currently Project / Proposal Manager for Foster Wheeler North America

Corp., an international provider of systems and equipment for thermal power

generation technologies. Specializing in Business development bid /

proposal generation for the power industry with focus on Steam Generators &

Package Boilers.

Played a key role in ISO 9001 certification for the AE&E Sales and Proposal

process and developed ISO and internal process for Sales group. Delivered

Risk Management and Commercial presentations and coordinated the approval

process for proposals at the Executive and Board levels.

Prior to AE&E, was a Marketing Engineer at Siemens Power Generation Inc,

with responsibility for providing technical support to Business Development

including optimizing equipment and material deployment, managing customer-

proposals, and presenting technical and commercial Limits of Authority

(LoA) documentation to Boards.

Earlier career includes power plant automation systems engineering with ABB

Inc and PVC process control engineering.

Holds a BS degree from Excelsior College with majority of engineering

coursework completed at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta,

Bid Manager and Proposal Leader. Provides principal liaison to customers

and to Global Sales (GSO). Responsible for insuring that all internal

approvals are satisfied and support from the organization is sufficient to

meet business and client requirements. Coordinates required departments to

ensure client satisfaction with the proposal and sales process. Responds to

sales inquiries, selects systems, and performs economic analyses. Develops

bid strategy, prepares detailed proposals, generates estimates, and

coordinates logistics. Prepares Limits of Authority (LoA) for Board-Level

Management by implementing processes, policies, and procedures to identify

and manage threats to project and business objectives. Identifies external

and internal risks facing the organization, introduces control measures,

and monitors the success of risk mitigation strategies.

. Developed bid proposal and coordinated estimating for AE&E Heat Recovery

Steam Generator (HRSG) for GE 109FB Phase III Gas Turbine. Proposal was

accepted and Purchase Order ($180k) was received.

. Developed bid proposal and coordinated estimating for six AE&E HRSG's for

2400 MW Samalkot Power Plant Expansion in India. Traveled to Mumbai,

India to meet with plant owner Reliance for commercial negotiations.

Agreement was reached, Bid offer $90M.

SIEMENS POWER GENERATION, INC., Alpharetta, GA 2007

to 2008

Marketing Engineer (Bid Manager) - Power Generation / Instrument and

Controls

Provided technical support to the marketing and sales team during the

selling-cycle for assigned proposals. Proposed changes in equipment or use

of materials to effect cost reduction and optimize operational efficiency.

Provided customer-specific proposal generation including managing the

proposal process, scoping equipment and installation requirements, creating

cost calculations, and identifying / mitigating risk. Presented technical

and commercial Limits of Authority (LoA) documentation to Board-Level

Management for approval. Supported Limits of Authority (LoA) within project

acquisition and project management. Implemented project categorization,

anti-corruption risk assessment, group risk classification, and escalation

processes.

. Developed bid proposal and coordinated estimating for Control Systems bid

to TransAlta including boiler and turbine controls for eight 350 MW coal-

fired power units in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Traveled to Canada to meet

with TransAlta for proposal and commercial negotiations. Proposal was

accepted and Purchase Order ($20M) was received.

ABB, INC., Duluth, GA 1998

to 2007

Project Systems Engineer - Power Plant Automation

Responsible for application design, project engineering, and start-up of

power generation, process application, steam process, and utility control

systems. Generated detailed project scopes and functional descriptions in

cooperation with the Lead Engineer. Developed software and coordinated

third-party hardware, software, and interfaces. Conducted acceptance tests,

documented system implementation and generated results reports. Trained

customers.

. Key role in implementing database cloning program to automate CAD

production of control design drawings for major Jacksonville Electric

Authority project. Due to program implementation, project team was able

to maintain schedule and recover project budget with considerable

savings.

1995 to 1997

Engineer - Process Control Specialist

PVC Process Batch Control - Provided technical and programming expertise to

all departments in order to maintain and implement the plant's Distributed

Control System. Performed Batch Control project work for PVC process

involving DCS programming, Graphics Design, I/O, P&ID's, Device Loop

Drawings, and Field Instrumentation. Supervised plant personnel in

Engineering Control Room.

. Major CAPEX project was underway with outside engineering firm. Comprised

strategy to allow internal process controls department to implement 2nd

phase of control engineering design resulting in cost savings to company.
