Six Sigma Training
I obtained my six sigma yellow belt through a course offerd at Meadwest
Vaco. The course was taught by the local community college. In this course
we learned how to support improvement projects as a part of a team or
conducts small projects on a part time basis as well has working together
to support each other and how to do projects in a timely manner.
5s and Lean manufacturing training
I obtained training and skills needed through a course offerd by Acucote
inc.
We focused on having visual order, organization, cleanliness and
standardization. The focus was also on proper labeling for the chemicals
and items used on a daily basis, and putting to use of 5 S posters and
signs as well as consolidating items to make a safer work place that meets
OSHA requirments.We learned how to make the 5s program the key componet's
of the visual work place to make the customers want to work with us as well
as keeping our OSHA saftey records to have many recordable's as possible.
