"Image processing techniques for the detection and removal of cracks

in digitized paintings"

Many paintings,especially oldones,suffer from breaks in the

substrate,paint,or varnish.It uses the digital image processing technique

to retrieve the image for processing.Image is processed in top hat

transform and the characteristic of image are analyzed to detect the

crack.After detecting the cracks that portion alone can be eliminated and

image filling activity is done and finally combined with the remaining part

of image.

Skills Used: VB.Net as Frontend.
