My work experience in the sales and marketing realm is vast and represents various industries
including hospitality, event planning and exhibitions, personnel management and recruitment, IT and
training, and since 2002, engineering, encompassing in excess of 22 years of product and service
related marketing and sales proficiency.
I have represented a number of organizations internationally and had the opportunity to
conceptualize, design and manage the launch of an international organization at a prestigious event in
Cape Town.
I am proficient in the Microsoft office suite and have worked on the Maximizer CRM sales management
tool in the past.
I am a resolute individual and function effectively in a team setting, but also have the capability of
working in isolation without supervision. I am performance driven and thrive under pressure hence a
dynamic and interactive work environment permits me to flourish.
I have clear, concise and proficient written and verbal communication skills and an innate ability to

We emigrated from Cape Town, South Africa to Florida in May 2012. My entry visa did not allow me to be
employed and I have subsequently received my green card and the resultant work authorization for any
employer in the United States.
MARKETING AND SALES MANAGER - IHC MARINE AND MINERAL PROJECTS
MINING AND METALS SECTOR - CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA (08/2010 – 03/2012)
IHC Marine and Mineral Project's core activity is to develop underwater mining systems. We however also
provided solutions for engineering requirements in the oil & gas services / support and marine markets.
Duties:
Employed to conceptualise and design the new brand and image of the organisation after a joint
venture between Marine and Mineral Projects and IHC Merwede BV was finalised in April 2010.
Developed the Marketing and Sales forecast for the new organisation and in turn facilitated the
recognition of the brand in the marketplace.
Design and compilation of the brochures and technical product specifications.
Responsible for the full marketing function with regard to the compilation of the annual marketing
budget and strategy.
Ensured that the company name remained in the spotlight in the appropriate marketing arenas namely
trade shows, editorials and advertorials.
Full sales function focused on alluvial mining houses, deep sea mining companies and marine
infrastructure organisations and subsequent compilation of a sales plan to co-ordinate the meetings
and presentations to these select groups.
Maintenance of relationships with existing customers relating to the control of RFQs (request for
quotations) for parts and services, the sourcing and costing of these items and the provision of the
items to the global clients.
Identification of applicable forums for exposure and the design of exhibition stands for the promotion
of both our company and that of other group divisions at the Windhoek Mining Expo and the Mining
Indaba.
Conceptualization, design and project management of the production of the exhibition stand
(Windhoek Mining Expo) and brochures for IHC MMP as well as the Mining Indaba, OceanflORE 2012
launch.
Attendance on behalf of the company at international conferences and exhibitions.
