Deep transcriptome analysis of Tribolium castaneum eye development

. The aim was to investigate the eye development pathway in Tribolium

castaneum, red flour beetle

. Generated and collected knockdown tissues of the early retinal

genes using siRNA

. Samples were sent for deep RNA sequencing, followed by

knockdown transcriptomes
