Safety, Morale, and Training for 130 Drivers, 56 associates, 10 Office Managers and maintenance for 95 tractors and over
200 Walmart Dry Trailers. Coordinated the logistics efforts supporting over 120 Stores.

• Coordinated our office support for the Wreaths Across America campaign.
• Fisher House Committee Member working closely with Fort Campbell, Ky, supporting returning veterans.

2003 – 2005: Walmart (Grocery) Operations Manager, DC 6073, Pageland, SC responsible for the Safety, Administration
and Operations for 100 associates and 4 Managers leading the Orderfilling and Loading functions for 145 Supercenters.
• Reduced associate attrition rate by 11% on Dry Shipping Weekend 1 st Shift.
• Interviewed and selected for the Warehouse Transportation Ops Manager position.
• Directed the completion of routing, CCOB manpower and equipment forecasting to ensure the highest level of
customer service to the DC, Stores, and Vendors.
1989 – 2003: Transportation Operations Manager, Harris Teeter, Indian Trail, North Carolina responsible for
transportation operations involving complex union politics and large workforce of drivers, suppliers, and third party
vendors.
• Liaison for Harris Teeter in bid against UFCW for a successful decertification.
• Managed Driver schedules, Shop operations, and on-time store delivery.
• Responsible for the Monthly and Yearly management of P&L statements.
1983 – 1989: Route Supervisor, Pepsi Company, Bennettsville, South Carolina responsible for a full range of routing
management services and duties, as well as, working with external clients to assure customer relations.
• Ensured the safety of 20 CDL qualified delivery drivers. Responsible for conducting training meetings to ensure
awareness campaigns and prevention measures were in place.
• Developed drivers to support organizational goals by engaging in gate to gate route rides twice weekly.
• Recognized by Senior Leaders as having the most improved customer service to our stores.
