Process Improvement Team Builder - Currently working with a local agency to identify
parallels from Lean experiences and integrate them to improve the work flow. Found areas in
the office structure with payroll savings as well as implementation of a structured EAP. Made
recommendations for overall employee performance based on metrics derived from local and
corporate objectives. Coordinated vehicle repairs for clients and worked directly in the vendor
selection process. Updated security measures from an information standpoint to include

Process Improvement Production Supervisor Manage the daily operation of the Mill, where the
processes in manufacturing components for cabinets require continuous improvement and
enhanced performance. Objectives include cycle time reduction, equipment changes and
motivation for all team members. Responsibilities include the scheduling of production, expense
accountability and overall efficiency in the shifts making products for the Assembly area.
Improved traffic routing of pedestrian and conveyance movement in the plant by implementing
specific routing, direction and speed constraints. Loss of material due to accidents dropped 17%
in the first month. Consistently maintains production goals above 100% in efficiency. Works
with Process Engineering department in finding ways to decrease expenditures of in house
supplies and improve the flow of product trough the facility. Brought employee interaction for

Cataler, NA, Lincolnton, NC. 4/2008 – 1/2011
Production Supervisor Responsible for Materials and Production at a Tier 1 OEM supplier for
Toyota, the principal owner. Implemented multiple cost savings programs originated by team
members, management and staff, under basic Kaizen principles. Maintained JIT supply for
internal production and export support to sister company. Worked closely with our engineering
staff to find root causes of mechanical and human error issues. Used experiences from the floor
to bring team members in on meetings concerning 5 Why and Best Practices to avoid similar
reoccurring production problems. Converted our part of our Waste Management (metals, HDPE
plastics and cardboard) to a recycling program. Revenues generated here in the thousands of
dollars annually were used to put back to the community in the form of charitable contributions.

Daimler Chrysler Corporation, Cleveland, NC, Gaffney, SC . 1/2002 – 8/2007
Inventory Control Manager – Mercedes Benz Sprinter Project - Duties include cycle count,
troubleshooting, and establishing quality/productivity metrics, administer and maintain quality
audit program. Worked between our Detroit distribution office and the Dusseldorf manufacturing
plant to distribute a new product to North America. Coordinated all logistics of new vehicles
from Germany to the US and the distribution to participating dealerships. Re-branded the product
to accommodate better distribution from MBNA to Dodge. Worked closely with drayage
companies with rate negotiation and contracts to ensure longevity and profitability. Maintained a
joint coordinated weekly/monthly/annual inventory with internal and required ISO acceptable
programs. Determined manpower planning with production volumes, downturns in the economy
and anticipated changes with the capabilities of our manufacturing plants in Germany. Arraigned
training with HR in all processes and procedures with Corporate Management in the training of
staff. Collaborative liaison between production and quality assurance. Coordinated supplier
contracts to comply with changing DOT regulations on site.
Strategic Materials Supervisor – Freightliner - Class 8 MFG. Responsible for separate divisions
within the Freightliner truck manufacturing plant in Cleveland, N.C. Worked closely with
Production to insure a JIT system functioned properly with the flow of inventory into the Plant.
Using designated software (SAP) we were able to closely monitor on time needs of the plant,
vendors and customers. Coordinated all hot shipments to insure minimal or non-existent
downtime with the production schedule and process. Responsible for 100+ employees in 4
divisions including scheduling, counseling and training in multiple job responsibilities.
Human Relations Specialist Implementation/Administration of policies and procedures in
accordance to the company standards with Federal and State regulations. Interpreted and
administered the labor agreement as well as compliance with EEOC, State Labor board and EAP.
Worked with “special needs” employees to insure that the company was compliant and
responsible and that these individuals were productive in the roles provided.
Expedited Delivery, Charlotte, North Carolina. 4/1986 – 9/2001 Vice President of Freightliner
Operations Responsibilities included the reconstruction of a JIT operation and fleet management
in the Carolinas for a major OEM. Brought better efficiencies to the company by consolidating
offices and eliminating overhead. Streamlined routing to offer better utility and offer the
customer a cost savings while expanding revenue generating opportunities. Initiated marketing
with suppliers and venders to grow the business and complement other divisions of the company.
Used EDI billing system to accommodate customer needs and reduce invoice errors. Responsible
for the acquisition of the company's first 3rd party logistics office on site with an OEM. Served
here in the capacity of Corporate Traffic Manager moving material in and out of six regional
plants using a variety of transportation modes. Brought long lasting relationships to the company
to insure steady contractual business. Responsible for multiple P&Ls with total revenues
exceeding $11m annually . Understand the facets of LTL/TL, LCL/CL, Truckload, Brokerage,
Courier, Air, Ocean as well as International freight movement.
Worked as a Terminal Manager coordinating and handling all aspects of flight operations with
Flying Tigers Air Cargo (Baltimore MD), Emery Worldwide (Macon, Georgia), Airborne
Express (Greenville, SC). Marshaled aircraft, worked schedules with flight crew according to
capacity reports. Coordinated alternate charters or ground transportation for overflow.
Responsible for the on time aircraft departure. Conducted daily safety checks on the tarmac.
Trained personnel on the proper equipment operation and certified employees for use. Insured
destination sort was accurate before loading.
