Monitoring Refractory Maintenance, Refractory quality, flue wall demolition,

rebuilding work.

Experience in refractory inspection of refractories used in Baking Furnace (42-53%

alumina, 59%alumina, castable) at vendors site like TRL Korosaki Belpahar,

Manishri, Maithan Ceramics, TRL Korosaki Jhanshi.

Assuring internal Refractory quality on regular basis.

Working as a Shift-In charge for the Carbon plant (Bake Oven).

Monitoring and control of the production process (Baking of anode called as Fire

Control System, Grouping-Ungrouping and the Fume Treatment Plant).

Improving baked anode quality and controlling the parameters like CRR, ER and

Baking Loss.

Monitoring HFO property and quality which is used in Baking furnace.

Analysis of various parameters of the anode baking process & focusing on

improvements for better plant operation with new methodologies and consistent

achievement of production targets.

Effectively meeting the targets, which include practicing SOPs, 5s and safety

procedures.

Facilitator of quality circle team and registered in QCFI.

PROJECT WORK

Project on Lance Refractory during my training in TRL, Belpahar.

Project on Synthesis of Stoichiometric Mullite Precursor by Mechanochemical

Process & used this Precursor in Castable Refractory in GCECT, Kolkata.

Project on optimization the process parameter to minimize the HFO consumption &

minimization of heat losses in Anode Baking Furnace, BALCO, Korba.

Worked on a project Increase the MTBF of FTA-01 from 230hrs to 320hrs in Anode

Baking Furnace, BALCO, Korba.

Working on a project Increase the availability of fire ramps to 99.8% and increase

the process score card marks in Anode Baking Furnace, BALCO, Korba.

Working on a project Minimizing HFO consumption from 52.5lt/anode to 49lt/anode in

Anode Baking Furnace, BALCO, Korba.

TRAINING

Vocational training from Durgapur Steel Plant, SAIL for two weeks.

Vocational training from Tata Refractory Limited, Belpahar, Orissa for four weeks.

Got "EXCELLENT" Performance grading during last year in BALCO.

Wining achievement award for 15 flue wall replacement job within a month without

disturbing the production.

Wining achievement award for highest marks obtained in process score card.
