• Supervised all aspects of the maintenance cycle, including preventive maintenance, corrective
maintenance, calibrations, modifications, disposition, maintenance reporting, and supply support,
directly reducing maintenance costs and maintainer hours as well as accurately identifying and
reporting mission capability.
• Developed, implemented, and supervised battalion level maintenance policies and procedures as
well as training programs to include, but not limited to: Preventive maintenance, corrective
maintenance, proper reporting procedures, proper usage of the Oracle based automated information
system used across the United States Marine Corps, part requisitions, supply support, and
inspection programs and procedures.
• Conducted up to 500 hours of reconciliation between sources of supply and subordinate
maintenance sections, with over 156 of those hours within the last year, which directly improved
maintenance cycle time and identified reporting and functionality discrepancies.
• Coordinated proper disposal of up to 400 pieces of equipment through United States Marine Crops
based programs such as the Recoverable Item Report (W.I.R.) and Enterprise Level Maintenance
Program (E.L.M.P.), reducing budget stress and man-hours spent on excess, obsolete, and
maintenance prone equipment.
• Planned and supervised the daily tasks of eight billeted positions subordinate to that of my own to
include the Maintenance Chiefs of seven maintenance sections as well as the assistant Maintenance
Chief for the Battalion.
• Responsible for 46 million dollars of equipment, up to 30 subordinates, all features and aspects of
maintenance, and the policies, procedures, and training thereunto pertaining.
