Finical Assistant, September 2013- Present
• Handle the Center’s taxes and finances from the month of November to August.
• Reconcile each month’s expenses to help maintain an organized and balanced budget.
• Organized data for a state wide survey where as a staff we interviewed over 500 low-income workers.
• Handle weekly discriminated employees who were facing wage theft, wrongful termination, and harassment by
giving a step by step process of how the employees were to move forward with their case.
La Salle University Day One Host, May 2011- August 2011
• Served as a liaison for incoming students by guiding them through the campus and explaining in detail what the
campus could provide.
• Guided groups of 15 or more students: help students register for classes, adjust to the diversity of the campus, and
answered any questions pertaining to the college lifestyle.
INTERNSHIPS
American Cancer Society
Intern, September 2011- December 2011
• Wrote press releases for ACS events and awards.
• Called news stations in the greater Philadelphia area to explain upcoming ACS events.
• Wrote and produced presentation videos for ACS to review their events throughout the year to help raise
awareness about ACS events.

• Created, planned, and implemented educational, cultural, and social programs for a floor for 35 residents.
• Informed and held students accountable for university policies.
• Collaborate with a staff of 8-11 other resident assistants to create a safe and enjoyable living environment.
Project Mapendo Coordinator, September 2013- June 2013
• Through my leadership and efforts on the trip, I was picked to be 1 of 2 coordinators to plan the Mapendo Trip
that would return to Nyeri in May 2013.
• Assisted in choosing 11 candidates from a pool of 25 undergraduates.
• Contacted hotels in Las Vegas and New York to help four a silent auction that took place in February 2013.
• Responsible to manage weekly meeting and hold our trip members accountable for their attendance.
Project Mapendo, September 2011- June 2012
• Project Mapendo is a service trip conducted by La Salle students who travel to Nyeri, Kenya; for the trip, 11
students came together to raise money in an effort to help fund the trip.
• Traveled into the city and asked small business owners to help the trip by donating store items for an auction run
by La Salle.
• Wrote personal letters to family and friends to help donate to our cause and with our letters we were responsible
for funding a large portion of the trip.
The Masque, 2009-2013
• Set up lighting, constructed several different structures, applied microphones and worked the audio for our
musical in 2010 Pirates of Penzance and Noises Off.
• Co-Master of Sound for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
