Description :

1. Implementation of Inter Process Communication between Cortex A8 and

Cortex M3.

2. Cortex A8 (AM335x) acts as master and Cortex M3 (lpc1343) as slave.

3. Master must be ported with Linux and Slave to port with Free RTOS.

4. Communication must be made using SPI Protocol.

5. Adding board specific code (BSP) in to the board file to support SPI

in Linux Kernel.

6. Understanding the directory structure of linux kernel.

Project-2 : Board Bing-Up and BSP changes in Development Board

Description :

Porting Linux on to the ARM based development board. In this process

I came to know that of adding board specific code (BSP) in to the kernel

source, configuring the kernel & understanding kernel compilation procedure

and solving errors in compilation, Configuration and compilation of u-boot

and generating root file-system using buildroot. Booting from SD card, Nand

and Network.

Project : Talking Navigation Cane With Portable Braille Notetaker

Description : This project aims to provide the blind navigation

information via audible messages and hepatic feedback, helping them

localize where are they, where they are going to, and to improve their

mobility. This project also allows blind people to control device Operation

via Braille capacitive touch keypad.
