Experience Summary:
Around 7 years of experience in the field of development and optimization of polyol formulations (Rigid PUR/PIR,
Flexible molded, integral skin and Viscoelastic) for various polyurethane applications, providing technical support
service to customers and foam process troubleshooting.
Currently associated with Chemicals & Flouroproducts business at E.I.DuPont India Private Limited,

Expertise in the areas of:
Development and Optimization of Rigid (both PUR and PIR) polyol formulations using various blowing agents
for various insulation applications like Roof spray, appliance, building and pipe line insulations etc.
Development and Optimization of Flexible cold cure moulded, integral skin and Viscoelastic polyol systems
for various polyurethane applications like Automotive and furniture cushions, Steering wheel, pillow etc.
Development of polyols using different starters with the required properties (i.e OHV, Viscosity, Functionality)
for various PU applications.
Conducting new product validation trials, providing technical support to customers and foam process trouble
shooting.

Developed a high density super soft flexible polyol formulation for furniture cushion applications; Validation trials
passed at M/s. IMG, Thailand.
Developed and commercialized a hyper low density flexible polyol formulation (Density – 40 to 42 kg/cu.m) for
furniture cushion applications for customers in India.
Developed a flexible polyol system with high resilience property (65 %) for furniture cushion applications for M/s.
KBB, Indonesia.
Developed a flexible polyol system with the features of low density, dual hardness and wide process latitude (mix
ratio from 45 to 80) for four wheeler automotive applications; Validation trials passed at M/s. Procon Engineering,
Pakistan
Successfully developed a flexible polyol formulation using the customer returned polyol (recycling) for foldable
mattress applications.

Responsibilities:-
Managing formulation development programs for rigid polyurethane applications.
Testing and optimization of customer formulations.
Co-ordinate with global and regional technical teams on new formulation development projects.
Delivering end to end solution from formulation development, optimization and trials at customer sites in APAC
region.
Compliance to safety, health, environment and product stewardship requirements in all labs as well as at
customer onsite support.
Current working role:
Successfully established a new application development laboratory with all the instruments, equipments and
machines at DuPont Knowledge Center, Hyderabad.
Presently working on development and optimization of polyol formulations using the fourth generation blowing
agent DuPont™Formacel®1100 and blends of DuPont™Formacel®1100 with conventional blowing agents for
various rigid polyurethane applications like spray foam, appliance.
Member of site safety committee team. Through regular audits, monitoring and ensuring the safety measures in
all labs and taking precautionary actions to avoid incidents thereby to achieve zero accidents.
Working on layout planning and specification setting for the procurement and installation of high pressure foaming
machine to conduct in-house trials.
