Indiana OSHA Citation Abatement - Developed and implemented company's
hearing conservation program including audiometric testing of 700+
employees; lead multifunctional team including engineering firms to
identify acceptable anchorages, and & install various fall protection
systems; Developed and implemented training programs for LOTO "Affected" &
"Authorized" employees; Developed and implemented energy control procedures
for auto polish equipment; Developed and implemented permit required
confined space entry procedures for plating line tanks; Identified and
implemented feasible non-entry retrieval systems for confined space entry
on plating line; Developed and implemented medical surveillance protocol
for employees exposed to hexavalent chromium. Repaired exposed electrical
wiring; Presented evidence that resulted in several citations being
withdrawn and reduction of monetary penalty by significant amount.
Respiratory Protection Program - Developed and implemented a respiratory
protection program where there had been no program (written program,
medicals, training, and fit testing). Worked with local clinic to advise
them of the OSHA requirements regarding record keeping, created forms &
established adequate record keeping practices for employees sent to their
clinic. Scheduled the medicals working with manufacturing departments to
ensure minimal impact on production operations. Developed respirator
qualitative fit testing protocols and forms, purchased fit testing
equipment, and conducted fit testing. Prior to my employment there was no
fit testing performed.
Confined Space Entry - Developed written program & written work
instructions. Performed confined spaces evaluations and developed confined
spaces list. Purchased non entry retrieval equipment & air monitoring
equipment. Developed plant wide training and delivered classroom and hands
on training program.
Hoist & Lift Program - Developed and implemented a training program and
inspection checklists for the hoists and lifts operated in the facility.

Blood borne pathogens - Revised written blood borne pathogens program to
