Nationality: American
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
Currently I have returned to the US and stationed in Houston, Texas but previously I was station Singapore, working for the
same company L3 Communication DPCS, I have been leading the commissioning/installation of new DP2 and DP3
systems on drilling rigs and ships which also involved the power and vessel management equipment along with computers
for Automation Controls of Dynamic Positioning Control Systems. Most of these control systems are all controlled by
Rockwell/Allen Bradley Control Logix processors/Flex Logix/Compact Logix and also some Wago products developed
HMI’s with RSView32 and Wonderware. I have over 20 years’ experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s and related
hardware/software. When called upon I would also travel across Asia to do field service work on many types of ships and
rigs to service their DP and power management systems. The projects I have been working on have over 3000 I/O points.
Please note I worked for Kongsberg Maritime doing similar type work for about 7 months.
Before working at L3 DPCS I worked for Ford Motor Company, my first seven years I was a Maintenance Electrical
Electrician, my duties involved maintaining all the plants Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics and Hydraulic operation along
with PLC and Robotic Programming. After being promoted to Systems Controls Programmer/Electrical Electrician and
Engineering to the CIM Department my duties included automation industrial plant control operation, with various types of
project implementations, providing installation and development of new and old production equipment. Being a project
leader, allowed me to establish the needed team members, ordering the material needed, and produce the AutoCAD
drawings, determine cost analysis to stay within the given budget, safety protocols while completing a project that will
create a cost savings, reduce production time, while increasing more units per hour. My expected salary, per year $90k
$125k, I will need to give my current employment a minimum of 2 week notice.
