Accomplishments

As Nursing Attendant in a Provincial Hospital, I was given a different task/duties by my supervisor that varies

according to the needs of every patient. Taking care of ill person lying in a hospital bed particularly the serious

cases, is a heart-breaking situation, however, if i have done my job well and taking care of what is needed for

the patient and that they felt i handled them with care and show my concern for them to get well and eventually

seeing them recovered and discharge from the hospital i can say to myself i am part of that accomplishments.

Skills Used

- just like above getting the vital signs of the patients

-doing the suctions;

-wound dressing

-feeding and bathing of the baby and adult (alike)

-fixing or bed making in order that the patient will feel comfortable.

On-the-Job Training

On-The-Job Training:

In order to land a job particularly in a hospital, I am required to undergo On-the-Job training or the so called

hands-on in the hospital. I need to perform the usual job assigned to a Trainee and need to complete the 80

hours for my Nursing Assistant first and another 160 hours for my Patient Care Technician course.

Health Care Community Services Trainee

As part of the requirements of the Institution, we need to undergo a Health Care and Community services on

some designated remote Island Municipalities as part of our training. We taught the constituents particularly

the children about the proper hygiene as a basic step for health care, proper nutrition and also proper care
