Summary
I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, where I spent my childhood. In elementary school my family and I immigrated to
New York. That is when I discovered my passion for animation after watching my first episode of The
Simpsons. I was inspired by the way that The Simpsons animators were able to visually represent complex
characters. This style is what influenced me to get into animation and create my own characters.
Since then, I have worked hard to develop my animation skills. At Parsons I’ve taken classes such as Topics:
Narrative, Explorations in Drawing, Motion Capture and Motion Graphics which have given me the tools to
bring my visions to life. I’ve worked on various animated shorts that has shown my growth as an animator and
designer. I'm an expert in Flash and After Effects, and I am currently producing my own 2D animation short.
I also have several years of experience working in an office environment. I started high school interning at the
guggenheim and worked at other several museums throughout my high school such as the Guggenheim
Museum, The Bronx River Art Center and The Bronx museum. For the last three years in college I have worked
at different student support offices. While the connections between that and animation may not be clear, I've
found that the values of working in a team, meeting deadlines, and paying attention to details are universal. I've
also worked in a lot of museum settings where I’ve played the role of curator which has allowed me to
understand how art shows and screenings are conducted. These experiences gave me the ability to work with a
team and the ability to take leadership when needed.
