Gilchrist Lawn Service - Stantonville, TN - April 2013 to December 2013

Responsibilities

Operated and kept up the necessary and regular maintenance on Lawn Mowers, Weed-eaters, chainsaws,

leaf blowers, etc. Also included landscaping and maintaining 65 yards a week.

Accomplishments

The income helped me through my last year of college.

Skills Used

Manual labor, dedication to clients and boss, ability to operate different kinds of machinery, ability to show

up on time.

Pipe Fitter

W9Y Construction - McCormick, SC - May 2012 to August 2012

Responsibilities

Fit pipe for the welder, ran many different power tools each and every day. Cut pipe, cold and hot. Worked

within OSHA requirements. Worked around gasoline, diesel, and ethanol every day. Helped build ethanol

systems, gas pipelines, diesel pipelines, and loading docks for fuel trucks. Acted as fire watch when needed.

Cleaned the inside of tanks that held different fuels.

Accomplishments

Again a summer job to help me pay for college.

Skills Used

Pipe fitting, math and measurements, listening to crucial instructions, running power tools, worked with many

manual tools also, ran machinery such as, man-lift, bobcat, front end loader, problem solving, preventative

maintenance, pneumatics.

Welder/Fabricator

American Food Service - Savannah, TN - May 2010 to July 2011

Responsibilities

Interpreted the prints then, welded and fabricated many different stainless steel items for different companies

such as, Golden Corral, Chuy's, Olive Garden, etc.

Accomplishments

In a little under a year I was topped out as a TIG welder. Accomplished many goals on time so that the order

could be shipped out as scheduled. I never got into any trouble or had any write ups at work. Built many

friendships while I was there.

Skills Used

Welding/Fabricating TIG and MIG. Able to read schematics and build things according to the prints. Worked

with many different people throughout the factory. Worked with many different tools there.

Landscaper

Flower and Friends - Stantonville, TN - May 2007 to May 2009

Responsibilities

Landscaping, following specific orders, making sure everyone did their part of the job. Manual labor was the

biggest part of every day.

Accomplishments

My boss promoted me and put me over my own crew when I was 17.
