Senior International Recruitment Specialist-Avant Healthcare Professionals Winter Park, FL May 2006 to present

Owned and operated by Nurses and Healthcare Professionals, Avant is a privately owned International Recruitment

Company, specializing in recruitment of Foreign Educated Registered Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals. Avant

• Manages a recruitment staff in our overseas offices to ensure candidate follow up is timely, documents are

secured and interviews are scheduled with US office.

• Track and maintain communication with candidates through our NPTE, NBCOT and NCLEX Study programs,

Licensing and Immigration processes, clinical and social transition/training programs and the placement process.

• Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless processing

• Develop and execute recruiting plans for development of Healthcare Professional as well as the client

• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and Universities

• Coordinate, implement and attend recruiting initiatives, including international recruitment trips alongside building

relationships with Universities outside of the US for “Healthcare Professional referral generation”

• Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

• Efficiently and effectively fill open positions by evaluating clinical and educational requirements of each healthcare

professional

• Conduct regular follow-up with department managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and

implementation.

• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

the Internet for sourcing candidates
