facility I acquired basic knowledge in a broad range of laboratory techniques including but not limited to aseptic

technique and cell culture, hemacytometry, ELISA (direct and indirect), and western blots. I was also briefly exposed

to flow cytometry and PCR. Tasked with designing experiments as well as statistical analysis of data, trouble shooting,

summarizing and interpreting results.

As department manager of the tile department at the Expo Design Center in Bethesda, MD I was responsible for the

complete operation of the department. Job duties include supervising a staff of between twelve to fifteen employees

under my direct supervision as well as assisting in the supervision of the remaining two hundred associates. Other

responsibilities included hiring and training associates, ordering stock merchandise, department maintenance and

upkeep, working with vendors to build new and improve upon old displays, handling costumer issues, and preparing

all reports required for the multimillion dollar business.
