Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing qualified and approved NDT procedures, methods and techniques, interpreting

codes, standards, specifications and procedures.

• Accountable for scanning the material for defect detection and selection of detecting device according to the

standards. Instrumental in selection of parameters for the work object and various settings required for the job.

• Utilizing appropriate NDT methods for executing the projects

• Getting trained on various procedures and processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Preparing and assisting to prepare the fabrication, NDT procedures etc. for clients review and approval.

• Performing witness, review NDT examinations and interpretation of radiographic films.

• Prepare and submit periodical test report for welding, fabrication, NDT, internal audit reports etc and to follow up

for the required corrective actions.

• Inspecting in service welding and involved in material identification and verification of material test certificates.

• Preparing and qualification of Procedure Qualification Record and Welding Procedure Specification and

conducting the welder qualification test and monitoring all parameters as per WPS.

• Checking of consumables used in welding to ensure compliance with specification and monitoring welder’s

performance and to ensure that they are performing within the limits of their qualifications.
