As a General Dentist and Oral Surgeon I have worked in all areas of the dentistry field.

This experience has included general dental and surgical procedures, dental office

administration, nursing staff and management of care work. In addition to my practical

dental experience, my career has included the assessment of quality dental protocols

and security in dental clinics in various countries, as part of an international

accreditation program. These assessments include general dental office safety,

Panasonic Costa Rica

General Dentist and Oral Surgeon April 2003 to April 2014

Employed as an in-house dentist within the dental offices of Panasonic Company in

Costa Rica. Due to the small size of this clinic, served not only as a dentist but also as

a dental assistant. These roles included performing administrative work for the office,

auditing, purchasing of materials and dental equipment, equipment maintenance,

taking x-rays and impressions, providing indications of oral hygiene, sterilization of

instruments, billing for performed treatments, assisting other colleagues when

necessary and scheduling dental appointments.

American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities

(AAAASF)

Inspector May 2010 to Present, Inspector responsible for visiting various clinics in Colombia, Guatemala and Costa

Rica to thoroughly assess operations and quality standards. Inspections focused on

patient care by the dentist in charge, administrative duties aimed at improving the

quality and performance of the establishment, performance of dental assistants and

details that involve national and international laws and regulations. The primary purpose

of these findings was to ensure the clinic met the international accreditation of the

company to ensure safety and patient satisfaction.
