PROJECTS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED:
1) SAS Expander FPGA Emulation
Description: ‘We did FPGA emulation for 4-quads (16-ports) on Virtex7 platform. My
role in this project was as follow, Selecting suitable platform, Synthesized RTL of SAS
Expander by using Precision tool from mentor Graphics, Vivado from Xilinx,
Implementing synthesized netlist on Virtex7, Achieving Routing Closure, Timing
Analysis, and TCL scripting at every stage for tool automation.’
Key Results: We successfully synthesized and implemented 16-ports of SAS Expander
on Virtex7family device 2000t.
2) Wireless Equipment Control
Description: ‘Concepts of wireless RF communication and automation with AT89C51
microcontrollers are used here. Four devices can be controlled (made on / off) remotely
from a distance of up to 30m from the transmitter. In the transmitter, LCD module is
used to show the device numbers and preset control time for the device (00 to 99
seconds).’
Key Results: It is good way to on/ off devices remotely and also without a bunch of
wires. In this one can increase no. of devices and also range.
