lighting industry. Cooper Lighting has sales in excess of $1.1 Billion with many well respected brands sold through
multiple channels. Cooper Lighting operates 10 manufacturing locations in North America as well as 2 operations in
China. Cooper was purchased by Eaton in Q4 of 2012.
Materials Manager, July 2011 – November 2012
Materials Manager responsible for the production planning strategy and procurement of all direct and indirect materials
required in the process of all new LED Pilot Manufacturing operations.
New raw materials development (PPAP) by selecting vendor, achieve pricing and implementing inventory
management strategy.
Manage the planning and purchasing of components and products to satisfy production and customer requirements.
Manage the planning and scheduling of new product pilot runs and manufacturing processes until product assembly
process is fully vetted and documented.

Strategic Sourcing responsibilities included all North American operations. Responsible for development, publication and
execution of Global Sourcing Strategies that incorporate short and long term action planning to meet business objectives.
Global Commodity Spend of over $130M with primary sourcing responsibility for Ballasts, Lamps and Sockets.
Developed and led commodity teams with representation from 10 sites (US, Mexico & China) to drive strategy
execution and supply base metric improvements including OTD, Turns, Lead Time, New Items, YOY Productivity &
Supply Base Rationalization.
Negotiated and implemented Master Supply Agreements (MSA), Stocking/Consignment Agreements with all
Core/Strategic Suppliers (Top 80%). Also implemented Non-Disclosure Agreements with all new supplier
investigations.
Activity participated in quarterly cross divisional commodity team meetings to leverage commodity strategies, and
development of strategic suppliers across Cooper Divisions (Bussmann, Crouse Hinds, Power Systems, B-line,
