objective of this project was to supply cars/equipments to its Customers
for transportation. In order to meet their Customer's demand(Equipment
Request) for cars, most railroads have a comprehensive Demand/Supply
management system that ensures effective and efficient utilization of
Supply(Cars).
EDO is one such system that makes decisions of empty supply allocations
based on a global view of supply and demand and regularly reconsiders those
decisions as the situation dynamically changes. This also involves in
managing profiles of Customer who place orders, Order Management, Supply
Management, Equipment Classification and Assignment.
Responsibilities:
. Involvement in Requirement Analysis, Design, Build, Testing,Test paln
preparation and Implementation.
. Designing (Functional Specifications) and coding (Technical
Specifications) the most cost-effective and flexible Logic for
programs on order processing applications where frontend application
like JAVA,SWING.
. Designed detail design and prepared Program specification document for
a new customer interface in Web application and Standalone
application.
. Developed the code from scratch for a customer interface in web
application.
. Testing the developed code from Unit Testing up to System Integration
Testing. Create system test plans and follow through with the testing
and documenting of the test results.
. Implementation of the Code into Production.
