As a CSI Worker my responsibilities included maintaining a caseload of 5-6
children aged 5-18. I used behavior modification techniques to assist the
children on my caseload in decreasing problematic behavior. I was able to
connect them with services within their community based on their individual
needs, and monitor their use of such services. I often worked in
collaboration with the school system, by attending IEP (Individual
Education Plan) meetings, and observing the child in the classroom setting.
If the behavior was a problem in the school environment, I provided
service in school as needed. I facilitated skill-building groups for a
variety of age groups. Additionally, I was responsible for daily and
weekly deadlines, paper work to document my contact with clients,
therapists, psychiatrists, teachers, care givers, and other events.

As a TBS Worker, I worked in collaboration with the referring therapist,
and the caregiver to address the treatment team goals. My responsibilities
included working with youth who were at risk of losing their current
placement and being placed in a higher level of placement (hospital, jail,
lock down group homes, and or, out of state placement for children who had
exhausted state placements) due to their behavior. I introduced coping
skills to the caregivers, implemented incentive plans and worked with their
therapist to decrease their target behavior.

one, on a daily basis with young pregnant and parenting teens between the
ages of 13-19 who have come from unstable and often abusive home

incidents, alerting authorities and PET Team as needed for hospitalization,
