EDUCATION
B INGHAMTON UNIVERSITY B INGHAMTON, NY
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering of Watson School of Engineering May 2014
PROJECTS:
Landing Gear
Created parts and assembled a model of a landing gear for an aircraft utilizing Pro/Engineer.
Ran simulations and stress/strain analysis and Finite Element Analysis to ensure that the maximum
stresses and forces on each component would not exceed the factor of safeties for real life applications.
Streamlined the design for landing gear assembly to ensure that it was fully retractable into a fuselage.
P ROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
C UNY MEDGAR EVER S COLLEGE N EW YORK, NY
Research Assistant June 2014 - Current
Utilizing Visual Basic to convert a numerical model of oxygen decomposition in the New York area, to
properly function on Windows 7.
Analyzing the nitric acid chemical reaction to interpret the impact on the polar boundary layers and
ultimately develop a numerical model, coded in C++, to analyze this data to use later in a scientific journal.
A SME B INGHAMTON, NY
Secretary of ASME E-Board August 2013 – May 2014
Designed 3D models utilizing Creo from sketches and printed them using the Maker Bot. The models
were sold to customers and part files, money transactions and final projects were documented. By the
end of the year we generated a $300 profit from and initial $500 budget.
Researched information on 3D printers, including their filaments, progressions, and future impacts.
Organized social 3D printing events throughout the semesters, where students would generate ideas
and using the 3D printer would assist them to bring their visual images as real objects.
B INGHAMTO N UNIVERSITY B INGHAMTON, NY
Undergraduate Research Assistant July 2013 - September 2013
Redesigned, tested, and reengineered an incubator, which utilized fluid mechanic principles, to
maintain a steady environment of temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide, levels for cancer cell
analysis.
Designed a mounted frame for the incubator, utilizing Creo software.
A NTHONY TRICARICO M ANHATTAN, NY
Financial Engineering Intern November 2012 - January 2013
Identified and executed investments utilizing technical analysis of stocks which improved my
team’s total profit goal by 12% in the 8 weeks of the internship.
Prepared financial documents for project managers, analysts, and departments engaged in cost
control.
Analyzed institutional research from high-end companies and formulated plots and logarithms to aid
my group throughout the intern process.
