Currently I manage all aspects of first and second shifts within the plant.
I drive current issues to root cause and put in place corrective actions
that show improvement. I work with the Plant Manager to identify cost
reduction initiatives in various departments and implement change for
immediate cost savings. I have implemented current 5-S initiative and am
working to train all three shifts on the process. I have increased
production of fans by 50% across all three shifts while reducing scrap to
less than 3%. I have initiated a cost savings program of using diamond
tipped inserts instead of carbide which will in turn increase production
while reducing costs. I mentor new and current supervisors on the best

I oversaw the startup of the qualification lab in Suzhou China, while
managing a three shift qualification lab in Skaneateles Falls NY. Job
duties include scheduling qualification builds, trouble shooting product
issues with engineering support, team building, promoting and enforcing
company policies, interviewing and hiring candidates, Budgeting for
departments here and in SZ, goal setting for employees. Manage a staff of
40+ people in multiple lab locations.

. turned around department in 6-8 months and terminated unproductive
employees, hired and trained new staff, and reduced rejects from 25%

drove profit increases for each project, and improved product assembly
