Responsible for Site Safety compliance and audits of Safety Company contracted on a land and water based

decontamination site, performing decontamination of hazardous materials on tanker, barges, ships and other

vessels which were contaminated in the Gulf of Mexico MC252 Oil Spill. Ensured compliance of OSHA

Regulations, Haz Mat operations, Permit required confined space entries and all other support operations

involved.

Offshore Group Safety Lead

Cuffs Safety - Venice, LA - July 2010 to September 2010

Responsible for Site Safety on the MC252 Deepwater Horizon oil spill emergency response project. Coordinate

and implement Safety Regulations and safe operations for 24 Barges and 6 fleets of skimmer boats, 12 crew

boats performing offshore vessel operations. Conduct safety inspections and safety meetings and audits on

barge operations and other offshore vessels. Oversee decontamination of task force boats and equipment

and compliance of chemical and PPE usage. Performed Permit Required Confined Space Entry. Provide

leadership for Safety Techs. Conduct accident/incident investigations and reports.

Operated excavator on the environmental team to install silt fencing to prohibit erosion and silt run off. Operated
