The Operation Manager drives and manages the strategy for EMA, EBC and VPM

solutions delivery, promoting customer satisfaction and retention. The

primary role of Patricia is to plan, manage and control the Operation area

of HDS products throughout Colombia and Latin America countries.

Farmatodo - Venezuela

Patricia was assigned as Quality Assurance Leader, using OUM Methodology

into the Testing process as an integrated approach to testing the quality

and conformance of all elements of Oracle Retail implementation into

FARMATODO. She was responsible for defining all Business Requirements

process and for addressing both functional testing and testing of

supplemental, including systems integration testing for all Oracle Retail

interfaces to FARMATODO systems.

Patricia was responsible for defining the project time line and planning

the breadth and depth of the testing effort, and defining the test plan

based on design specification, testing covers functionality verification,

performance evaluation, reliability and robustness, industry standards

compliance, etc.

She was in charge of cover the requirements for all tests that should be

performed in FARMATODO project, from unit testing to user acceptance

testing, including how testing should be performed in the various stages at

the project, which tools should be used and how, what metrics should be

collected, how test data should be produced and what testing environments

should be used in the tests.

Also based on her Retail experience, Patricia was responsible to generate a

draft information about tester roles and responsibilities, test types, test

data and test estimates and scheduling, test items that should be tested,

the features that should be tested, and the features that for some reason

should not be tested. This information was the base for the final Testing

Plan that was implemented.

She also was in charge of integration tests to verify that the components

(and use cases) were executed in a way that is consistent with what the

client expected, and that the integration between those components worked

together as a whole, performing all tests according to the test plan,

recording the results, reporting bugs and issues and help design teams to

duplicate the bugs and issues.

Pfizer - USA

Patricia was assigned to Pfizer project as Tax Team Leader of Payables

group, and her responsibilities include tax collection information for all

Latin America countries.

She was responsible for managing the tax payables setup in each country,

for obtaining updated tax changes (tax and rates information), and

verifying that calculation results are correct as necessary for the

applicable countries that were included in the project.

Also, she was responsible for the setup of tax definitions using Oracle

globalization and localization functionality, in addition to resolving the

gaps identified with the tax process in payables.

Patricia was responsible for guaranteeing Oracle solution coherence between

market process and PFIZER footprint. Footprint differences must be approved

by Global Solutions team (Dublin), so Patricia must justify all changes she

is proposing. Once one change has been approved, she was responsible for

training to GENPACT team (India share services team).

PDVSA Gas - Venezuela

As Team Leader she was responsible for the overall management of the Oracle

11.5.10.2 upgrade to ensure all deliverables are achieved to the required

quality and timescales.

Responsible for all functional and some technical aspects and lead

responsibility, managing the design and development process, testing of

data conversions and interfaces using Oracle's tools.

Responsible for the configuration and reconfiguration of the current

software environments and lead the process of familiarization of the people

to the currency change, provided monetary reconversion instructions to full

time team members, providing tips to full time team members about data

conversion.

Also she was in charge of performing pre-upgrade analysis, new information

Grupo Carvajal - Colombia

As part of the roll out process, she participated in a specialized team to

implement EBS across all Carvajal companies in the world.

Carvajal was able to conduct the Oracle Fixed Assets implementation, but

needed outside help to educate users on proper setup and use of the

globalizations, so Patricia provided hands-on instruction on Oracle Fixed

Assets to enable its staff to comply with the Accounting Standards in each

country to manage and depreciate fixed assets, and establish location codes

and general information for fixed assets.

Also, Patricia informed all countries of the requirements, policies, and

procedures of the fixed-assets system to ensure that assets to be tracked

on the system had been identified and tagged, and conducted initial

inventories to determine the condition of all assets and reconcile the

physical inventory to the accounting records.

She acquired knowledge in a Brazilian Legislation, her delivery included

working closely with the client and the Brazilian consultant while working

to achieve a successful configuration of "Recibimento Integrado"

Localization.
