While Working Full time at Navy gateway inns and suites, I felt it was very
challenging but for an excellent reason, Patience. My duties were to Make
my guest feel comfortable at all times without being offensive due to how
we operate things in our company. My duties were to, Answer the phone at
all times, make sure all hotel reservation information for each potential
guest was correct (name, rank, address, service name and price range)
making sure room keys were active and I made sure the room keys were
labeled to the correct room and building. My other duties were to make sure
everyone was checked out before 11am, so we can inform house keeping and
foreman's to prepare the rooms for incoming guests. During night shift, we
made sure that all reports have been completed and turned into my
supervisor and ran night audit (mandatory). Additional duties after all
important work was completed was to make fresh coffee, do inventory check
of all outside hotel equipment, count and restock any extra towels and
linen, do and inventory count of flash lights vacuums irons, bathroom items
and file documents of old and new quests, shred paper and update lost and
