Fabrication and assembly of 787 Dreamliner structure and components to include the following skills and responsibilities: FAA and Industry Certifications (over 30) for Bond and Ground, Electrostatic Discharge, Sealant application and installation (ie BMS5-45, 5-105, 5-92) in the form of fillet, fay, aero seal and edge seals, Alodine corrosion application and safety (600, 1100 and 1240), Close tolerant drilling (.003" tolerance), riveting, shim fabrication and installation, Fastener installation (high locks, high lites, and huck fasteners with Huck guns), Quackenbush drilling machines, high reaches, fall protection, confined space entry, HAZMAT, and use of precision measuring tools to include Fedmax, calipers, Gapman, ball gauges and borescopes.
Use of Velocity and EID software for both engineering reference and documentation IAW PR-2001.
First Time Quality self inspections are a critical responsibility to identify work is completed to specification. The ability to identify problems and implement ER (emergent removals) and SRR (SOI revision requests) to correct and improve engineering instructions as well as final quality.

Hired by Lockheed Martin to create a unique annex responsible for maintaining a large number of US Navy 34’ Sea Arks, 7, 8 and 11meter Zodiac vessels, and other Special Marine Equipment used for Force Protection / Counter Terrorism, Counter Piracy and EOD operations in the African Theater of Operation as well as State Dept, sponsored training of various African Union Military Units in the use of US supplied vessels and equipment. I proved the effectiveness and value of a small well run team of skilled professionals operating in theater. This has allowed the Navy to complete the mission with fewer personnel deployed and has led to tremendous cost savings
Authoring of SOP’s, BOE’s (Basis of Estimate) and maintenance procedures based on Navy statements of work, marine structural component assembly, wiring, maintenance, repair and overhaul in accordance with US Navy 3M Standards for the following: high performance turbo diesels, transmissions, out drives, jet drives, outboard motors (both 2 and 4 stroke), AC/DC electrical systems, fuel systems, generators, hull systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electronic equipment (radar, depth sounders, radios, etc.), fly by wire controls and associated trailers Detailed understanding of marine structural drawings and blueprints, machine shop mathematics and shop safety.
