WORK HISTORY
07/2009-Present Once Upon A Child, Inc. Columbus, Ohio
District Manager
Responsible for up to 22 stores with sales of 20+ million.
Responsibilities include overseeing operations of district payroll
budgeting, sales and personnel. Other responsibilities include working
with Corporate Human Resource Manager in regards to recruiting
personnel for all levels of the company. Insure that all stores are at
company standards in regards to merchandising and buying. Perform
weekly walks and audits of all assigned stores and follow up on all
training. Worked with owners to develop and implement new concept
stores.
08/2007-07/2009 Kmart Corporation, Sears Holding Corp
Reynoldsburg, Ohio
Store Manager
Responsibilities include day to day operations of the store, overseeing
90 employees both hourly and salary, managing the Regional Model and
Training store. Also worked directly with Corporate recruiting
department for on campus recruiting of interns and management
personnel. Accomplishments included turning profit in a store for the
first time in 11 years. Finished 2008 as the Top Regional Model store
for comps in the nation. Generated over 80% of District profit for this
period. District finished number one in the company for the year.
4/2005-8/2007 Gabriel Brothers, Inc. Beavercreek, Ohio
Store Manager
Responsible for store with 12.5 million in sales. Supervised operations
of the store with up to 150 employees both salary and hourly. Duties
also included training store manager responsible for overseeing
training of store managers and assistant managers with the Ohio market.
Member of inventory committee responsible for the implementation of sku
based inventories which provided company with better reporting and
ordering capability.

budgeting, P&L and overseeing 150 personnel both salary and hourly,
Annual sales volume of $43.0 million. Supervised store during complete
remodeling phase which lasted 17 weeks. Accomplishments including
turning store from $28 million to over $40 million. Lead company in
credit applications for 2003.
10/2000-6/2002 Dillard’s Department Stores Cleveland, Ohio
Store Manager
Responsibilities included day to day operations of the store, including
budgeting, P&L and overseeing 275 personnel both hourly and salary.
Annual sales volume of $40.0 million. Oversaw all Human Resource
aspects for the store.
4/1997-10/2000 The Home Depot Cleveland, Ohio
Store Manager
Responsibilities included day to day operations, all financial and
Human Resource aspects. This included P&L, budgeting and overseeing up
to 385 associates, both salary and hourly. Annual sales volume of $73.0
million. During my tenure with Home Depot I opened 3 new stores,
requiring constant contact with General Contractors, Vendors and
Merchants to insure timely openings. Also directly in charge of mass
hiring and training of new associates in new markets.
6/1989-4/1997 D.I.Y. Home Warehouse Cleveland, Ohio
District Manager
District Manager with 7 stores and 240 million in sales. District
responsibilities included Project Manager that included working with
senior Management and General Contractors on site locations and all
phases of construction. Responsibilities included working with vendors
and merchants on receipt flow and Planogramming. Managed budget
preparations and all aspects of hiring and training of new associates.
Duties also included all blueprinting of new and remodel layouts and
all operational buying for the company. Worked with MIS department to
implement new hardware and software systems when company converted to
the AS400 system. This included training of all corporate merchants and
store staffs.
