Worked as Conversion Lead for the Connecticut conversion effort related
to Licensed Drivers. Responsibilities included communications with the
client, leading meetings with the client that related to data mapping,
mapping data from the CT legacy systems to the 3M MVS product
(CIVLS) with the representative documentation and writing the programs
to transfer the data to CIVLS. Programs were developed using SSIS,
leaning heavily on SQL and C#. Traveled to CT to meet with client when
necessary.
Before the Connecticut project worked with Idaho DMV and a third party
vendor from 10/2011 to 2/2013 to map data from the vendor's data
staging area to our MVS system tables. The focus was on the first two
phases of the Idaho conversion effort as the lead conversion analyst.
Responsibilities included creating mapping and design documents from
which the vendor wrote the conversion code, validation of converted data
for integrity and accuracy, holding meetings and traveling to the Idaho
site to meet with client and vendors.
