This consisted of three separate product lines and distinct products. Responsible for the creation, release and material
confirmation for all orders. Primary contact for customer service questions regarding delivery. Utilized a KanBan system to
maintain proper inventory levels of all fabricated material. Developed and maintained annual forecasts. Work is performed
within an SAP environment and extensive utilization of Excel to import and consolidate information.

Responsible for the scheduling of all operations for component part supplier to the automotive industry. The
processes involved included; die casting, reaction injection molding, injection molding and assembly. Provided input for
manpower planning and machine capacity evaluation for this Japanese owned company, with annual sales of $185 million and
inventory turns of 21. Inventory and Production Control were accomplished through a variety of visual control systems
(KanBan and MRP) using JD Edwards as the base ERP system. Managed the Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse (plant and off-
site) and Repack functions using Future3 EDI software to handle all shipment, order processing and communication with our
customers. Used RF scanners to complete ASN information. Also responsible for carrier selection and coordination of
inbound overseas containers. Responsible for an overall budget of $2 million. Managed 5 salaried direct reports and 27
hourly associates
Accomplishments:
• Saved $100K/per year on Freight in 4 months by analyzing inbound and out bound freight patterns and consolidation
• Saved $60K per year in 8 months by renegotiating external warehousing contract
• Developed the packaging engineer function to handle all packaging requirements internally and with customers
• Saved $2K per month by developing an internal returnable container tracking system, project took 6 months
