background in construction management, project management, and estimating, all along with oral

and written communication skills. Also worked as a professor with The Ohio State University in

scheduling, estimating, and pricing for more than 13 years through research and instruction at

both the undergraduate and graduate level. Skilled in Microsoft software such as Project, Excel,

Managed the contracts of three projects in Lagos during the finishing stages. The assignment

was short on a contract basis as needed.

2005 – 2010: Construction System, Inc. Project Manager and Estimator

Responsibilities included searching for available projects, estimating the cost, and managing all

construction phases. Managed many projects for hospitals and commercial facilities

1996 – 2005: D. L. Miller and Sons, Co. Chief Estimator and Project Manager

Developed from scratch an estimating system for the company using spreadsheets. Estimated

over $100 M of construction work. Managed the construction operations for the company.

All the awarded contracts were completed successfully with profit in a safe working environment.

1996-2007 The Ohio State University Visiting Assistant Professor

Held the position of a visiting assistant professor at the Civil Engineering Department,

Construction Management Program. Taught construction estimating & pricing, and scheduling for
