Responsible for the financial and operational metrics during and after the transition of six Winn Dixie

distribution centers to C&S Wholesale Grocers (procurement and logistics arm for Winn Dixie stores)

Prepared budget template and reviewed each line item with distribution center management teams

before final reviews by Operations Finance and executive management team; Budget process was

multi-faceted and included reviews for warehouse, transportation, inventory control, quality

assurance, security, safety, and facilities. Total budget exceeded $150 million.

Leading major project for post-transition Winn Dixie facilities to build financial model with narrative

showing the financial and operational process changes between the two companies. This project will

allow C&S to better pin point short falls, determine future course of other changes, or possible

reversal to established Winn Dixie methods.

Developing weekly job classification reporting to identify budget variances in headcount, regular pay,

overtime pay, average per hour pay, hours worked, and cost per case.

Building several weekly and period reports for Regional Vice President to mirror reporting at other

C&S facilities.

Travel to distribution centers regularly to develop strategy for operations in order to improve

financials results.

SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER – LOGISTICS

Developed daily and weekly reporting to evaluate profitability of inbound loads by commodity in

order to manage team members to specified goals while keeping on time percentages above 95%.

• Key member of several tactical teams for consolidation warehouse(s) project, unloading service

pricing and contract, pharmacy warehouse freight pricing and contract, sale of manufacturing

facilities, and carriage/brokerage operations.

• Built annual budget template for Inbound Logistics ($60 million revenue / $10 million net savings),

Winn Dixie fleet internal hauling revenue ($12 million) and outside freight expense ($4 million) line

items on distribution center budget; Developed more detailed revenue / cost model for determining

profitability of CPU vendor loads.

• Developed period end reporting for Inbound Logistics with the Finance team to show freight savings

effect on supply chain network, year to year comparison, and current year versus budget.

Completed asset rationalization project for headquarters management regarding distribution and fleet
