Deputy Director Munitions Production (DDMP)

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Indenting, technical scrutiny and contracting national level defence contracts.

• Spearheaded the teams negotiating and concluding multi million dollars contracts worth 160

Million USD for construction of PN fleet oil tanker and Fast Attack Craft (Missile), with foreign ship

construction organizations i.e. STM turkey, and CSOC china.

• Post concluding contracts, their effective planning and execution as per laid down schedule in

order to accomplish set targets and milestones.

• Implemented QC regime for Agosta90-B submarine construction in coordination with DCNS

Submarine construction yard.

• Audited the major overhauling of engines, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery etc.

of 150 engineering personnel onboard.

• Maintained the ship's structure, propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, power generation and

distribution, air conditioning & refrigeration, domestic & associated mechanical services.

• Kept ship operationally available and seaworthy for all deployments.

• Monitored failures, developed and evaluated proposed modifications and repair schemes, and

Manager STW/Trials Mechanical – Agosta 90B Submarine Construction Project

• Carried out STW/Trials of 55 mechanical systems (i.e. torpedo tubes, compressors, engines,

rudder planes anchor windlass etc.) as part of the construction team for the first indigenously built

submarine in Pakistan.
