McDonald's Business Leadership (Restaurant Manager)

1. Business Development:

Business development planning is done for one complete year by looking

at the historical trends and with the help of standardized analytical

tools. A consistent growth in sales of around 15.5% is made since

2001 and the target is to achieve 15% sales growth in year 2006, 2007,

2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013

2. Total Customer Satisfaction:

To provide 100 % Total Customer Satisfaction Diagnostic tools like

Fish Bone Diagram are used to identify the areas of opportunities and

to improve the overall operations of my store. Motivation is kept high

through healthy competition and rewards for the Best Performance.

3. PNL Statement and Controlling Line Items:

Make the PNL statement of the store and accountable for the PAC

(Profit after Controllable).

4. Inventory Management:

Responsible to keep the store inventory at optimum level. Following

up FIFO, Using Analytical tools to minimize the unidentified losses,

consistent follow-up on ordering system to avoid under or over stock

problem. Analytical tools are used to monitor the outflow of the

product to re-order and to minimize the chances of unidentified

losses. Minimizing the distribution cost is also part of my

responsibilities. Have been able to reduce the distribution cost.

5. Operations Management:

Managing the staff of 175 people. and 4 Floor Managers,6 second

assistant and one first assistant to run the day-to-day operation by

providing Total Customer Satisfaction. Verifying the shift scheduling,

generating Pay Roll, and conducting training sessions to enhance the

productivity, minimizing overtime of the employees through effective

scheduling tools. Through effective Training & Scheduling techniques

have been able to reduce labor cost.
