QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
Project Management
Directed site operations on a $50M+ remedial project involving the cleanup
of a former power plant site on San Francisco Bay; cleanup entailed
removing 50,000 tons of contaminated soil containing naturally occurring
asbestos (NOA); collaborated with local, state, and federal
regulators/authorities and transportation companies to safely and legally
remove material.
Solicited, won, and managed $850,000 per year environmental project.
Single-handedly sourced approximately $500,000 worth of business for URS in
Austin.
Developed and built "in place" landfill for hazardous waste resulting from
operations of a textile mill dating back to the mid-1800s.
Removed remaining soil and underground equipment in a manufactured gas
plant from the 1800s.
Troubleshot and analyzed potable water system issue in the Upper Peninsula
of MI; isolated problems with chemical injection systems and coordinated
with subcontractors and equipment suppliers to resolve system issues while
minimizing project costs and completion timeframe.
Organized the removal of 27,000 tons of TSCA regulated soil from site used
as a fire training facility where used transformer oil was used as fuel;
treated more than 600,000 gallons of contaminated water removed from
excavation.
Led the removal and stockpile storage of soils contaminated with
radionuclides; project involved the removal of several inches of soil from
45 acres across from DOD plant.
Supervised the earthwork, piping, and installation of scrim-reinforced PVC
membrane cap installation at a state-owned, low level nuclear waste
landfill; soils were contaminated with low level radionuclides.

USAF to be transferred to private ownership.

Engineering
Office engineer on the ground-up construction of a combined cycle, co-
generation 650 megawatt power plant project; managed document control,

apply to Primavera schedule.
Project Engineer for inactive waste hazardous waste landfill remediation
and cap; collaborated with state regulators and potential vendors to
determine disposal options for leachate contaminated with low level, alpha
