I am a former nurse of 24 years with experience with people of all ages and abilities. I have worked in hospitals and in
homecare settings, as a staff nurse, manager and supervisor. I have enjoyed each and every job that I have done and learned
with many years of experience that to be successful one must be willing, able and available to do anything that needs to be
done, no matter the task.
I relocated to Vermont in 2011 from Rhode Island to care for my ailing father. After he passed and as I evaluated my life and
work experience I decided to stay in Vermont and make a change to my career. I am currently enrolled in a Master’s of
Education program and desire to work in the human resources in education field once I graduate. In the meantime, I am seeking
employment to keep my mind and body active.
My biggest strength is people skills, communication, compassion and caring. I have strong organizational and administrative
skills and am comfortable working with computers and specifically Microsoft Office. I have worked with many different types
of people in both relaxed and stressful situations and I do not lose my composure. I am hardworking and trustworthy. I have
years of experience in many different areas, can assess a situation quickly and then do what needs to be done.
