Perform Technical Bulletin Inspection and service on HET wheel hub
assemblies, remove hub and inspect 2 positional lock tabs for on center
position. Mission to inspect 74 US Army HETs. Discovered 12 vehicles with
technical short comings and deficiencies. Photograph hubs, serial numbers
and identify axle number locations and report to Maintenance Warrant
Officer for future factory warranty service. After inspection is complete,
paint marker tabs inspection, install and service hubs, paint marker all
fasteners at manufacturer specification.

On a daily basis my duties include heavy wheel mechanic in a 100% reset
shop to perform complete overhaul of military severe duty vehicles,
hemmits, pls, and hetts. Read inspection form of overhaul requirements,
remove and replace, brake drums, shoes, hardward, drum seals and bearings,
suspension systems, walker beams, torque rods, shock absorbers, leaf spring
saddle, and mounts, replace hydraulic lift cylinder, and hydraulic lines.
Disconnect electrical wiring, oil lines, airlines, radiator to remove
diesel pack and transmission, remove and replace axles, transfer case, cab
compartment, remove and replace accessories, mudflaps, lites, reflectors,
fenders, armour etc. install reman diesel pack, rebuilt armored cabs and
ignition on to inspect drivability and performance to pass QA inspection.

Perform PMCS on Tactical Hummvee. Inspect and repair electrical system,
replace bulbs, switches, repair loose or broken wire and connections.
Charging and starting system, use voltmeter to measure battery volts,
alternator charging amperage, inspect alternator belt and pulley system for
loose bearings, and inspect serpentine belt for cracks, frays and belt
tension at manufacturer specification. Inspect engine block and bolt ons
for seal leaks, cracks and engine oil condition for wear and tear of
internal engine wear. Transmission test drive vehicle for shifting of all
gears, inspect transmission bell housing and case for cracks, leaks and
perform transmission filter kit. Driveline inspection of axle shafts,
propeller shaft, flange and gear hubs for damage and gear lube at
manufactory specification. Brake system, inspect master cylinder case and
seal, fluid condition with test strip kit, measure brake pads and rotors
for wear and tear compared to manufacturer specifications and text drive
for brake distance stop. Steering and suspension, inspect for center
steering, steering column, gearbox, power steering pump, ball joints, tie
rods, center link, steering knuckle, spindle, control arms, shocks, coil
springs and vehicle ride height. Exhaust inspection and repair of hangers,
pipe connections, exhaust leaks, exhaust manifold and exhaust color and
odor to determine internal engine performance. Inspect and replace body
accessories, install fuel and power steering modifications.

have experience in 570 retro kit, removing and installing diesel power pack
and transmission, retro fit coolant system, alternator, power cables,
battery box and voltage regulator, exhaust fan box. Install steering wheel
modifications, drivetrain, and sixpoint seatbelt seat retrofit. Remove
heater boxes from vehicle floor compartment. I am able to work in improved
and unimproved maintenance facilities as well as field. I am able to pass

independently and with coworkers. I have good housekeeping skills, I can

with customer service. Provided inventory and control of scaffold building

using pneumatic wrenches, hand tools. Remove battery box, overhaul cables,
retrofit wiring to new schematic drawings, install new power distribution
box, remove and install positive and negative cables. After service is
complete test vehicle for performance codes, inspect system check on
centralized tire inflation system, monitor on board computer for vehicle
engine, transmission, electrical performance in accordance with

MRAP RG33l, Humvee, Hemitt wrecker, tanker and palletized loading system,
PLS, and LMTV cab over vehicles. Troubleshoot, repair, and order parts for
engine components, fuel delivery system, transmission and drivetrain, gear
hubs and axles, hydraulic brakes and airbrake systems, and electrical
malfunctions. Read engine codes and pull transmission codes with MSD or
flash indicator codes reading. Diagnose hydraulic malfunctions in switches,
