IT Manager (2013 - Present)
Responsible for the IT area for both infrastructure and applications, reporting to the CFO. Maintain IT
Operations and Services. Project Manager for various initiatives, including a new Manufacturing plant, a
new R&D Lab, and implementing new technology solutions.
• Spinoff from Champion Technologies. Project Manager to spinoff the IT side of the Business in
a new organization. Result: I managed a team of 15 IT professionals from different groups to
create the new infrastructure, request the new software licenses and migrate the information.
• Project Engineer Tracking Solution. This allows them to centralize all the project request they
received from the Sales Managers. Result: the Project Engineer Manager was able to prioritize
and assign resources more efficiently, also he is able to produce reports showing all the work
that we are doing for the customers.
Champion Technologies, Various Locations 2006 - 2013
IT Project, Process and Financial Lead (2011 - 2013)
Develop and manage the global IT budget including IT procurement; IT process improvement and
process standardization across IT Departments; contract management, vendor selection and vendor
management. Conduct market analyses and trend analyses, and develop feasibility studies for technology
advances/integrations. Develop and rollout IT business continuity plans and disaster recovery plans.
Represents IT in Audit responses, and implement controls. Drive formation and KPI’s reporting.
• Standardize the network deployment of new sites. The CIO requested my help to coordinate
the effort between the Client Services and IT Operations group, because it was not working and
affecting our internal clients. Result: I created a team with representatives of both teams, and
we deployed a new process that help the company to reduce the time spend in these efforts and
also standardize the equipment that we use.

• Work with the Business Procurement department in the creation of a new IT Procurement
process. This allows us to centralize the purchases from all IT departments in a single person and
add some important controls in place. Result: we complied with some requirements for our
internal audit and this process will be used as the standard for other Business unites.
Interim IT Director, Business Solutions, Houston, Texas (2010 - 2011)
Assigned to the Houston office, on a temporary basis, to establish an IT presence and begin the formation
of a new team. Directed the efforts of a 8 member team, with 2 Business Solutions Leads and a 6 person
technical staff and manage the global IT application/platform strategic direction to support the business
objectives. Market IT Support Services, on a project-by-project basis, in a shared services operating
model. The technical team develops, implements, and maintains business applications for all major,
mission- critical, enterprise business processes.

• Restructured the IT Department’s business model and implemented a IT Governance
Committee to enable the Users/Customers to participate in setting project priorities, and
establishing the allocation of funds for pending projects. Result: The new approach engaged
our internal customers in projects from the concept stage through to completion and directly
contributed to improved customer satisfaction levels.
• Presented an alternate approach for a pending project in Colombia. Recommended, to the
Vice President of the Business Unit, that we staff the project with local Colombian consultants
and contractors. Located and vetted local candidates for the assignment. Result: Saved more
than $100K in project costs and completed the project on time.
IT Regional Manager, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2006 - 2010)
Reported to the Business Unit VP and CIO, and managed applications and infrastructure for twelve sites,
with more than 300 users, located in Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador.
• Standardized all the computers, printers, network equipment, and software licenses for 12
sites in 6 countries. Result: The standard approach simplified user training, standardized
maintenance, simplified user support services, and provided high-quality tools for the users.
• Managed the project that centralized some of the Finance and Administration functions in a
Shared Services Center. Result: Reduced regional Admin and Finance overhead by 20%. The
project payback was achieved in the first year, with a $240k NPV, and an IRR of 135% in 3
years.
Hexacta, (formerly Btoben), Buenos Aires, Argentina 2000 - 2006
IT Manager (2004 - 2006)
Led a small team of technicians and programmers and managed the infrastructure and applications for this
mid-sized software development company.
• Implemented a new backup process for servers and users, which reduced backup time by 30%.
The improvement in process time eliminated the need to add capacity to our system and saved
approximately $10K in equipment costs.
• Renegotiated our telephone system lease agreement. Result: Reduced telephone system costs
by 50%.
Network Engineer (2000 - 2004)
Managed the migration to a new office space, this included the design of the phone system, internet
connection, cabling, computers, printers and 100 servers.

Stendek, Buenos Aires, Argentina 1999 - 2000
Network Administrator
Provided network support and general user support to Stendek’s customers throughout Buenos Aires.
• Managed the migration of a Data Center to a new technology for 300 employees, 30 printers

ability to share files and print using the network, instead of local printers.
