ENGINEERING Power Generating Speed Bump

PROJECTS - Designed a power capturing apparatus in the form of a speed bump. The bump

converted the weight of passing cars to generate electricity. A gear train was

utilized to improve efficiency. The bump was designed and drafted using

SolidWorks and was also simulated to withstand operating conditions.

Flow through Mixing Elbow

- Modeled and meshed mixing elbow using ANSYS. Varied flow parameters to

illustrate different flow conditions. Simulated using ANSYS software.

Bryton Cycle Power Plant

- Designed power plant using constraints and conditions emulating real world

conditions. Cost analysis was done on the power plant to yield investment cost

and operating costs.

Surge Protector with Child Safety Features

- Reversed engineered existing surge protector and took notes on

specifications and schematic. Used AutoCAD to draft a schematic for unique

design of surge protector. Completed 3D sketch using SolidWorks.
