Led and leveraged cost-saving initiatives into 64% ($9M) revenue increase.
Peter Skop revenue growth and profitability had become stagnant. Initiated
cost savings initiatives in areas of Supply Chain, Accounts Payable and
Receivables, new product and vendor selection, Distribution, etc. Yielded
significant savings and revenues.
Played key role in building new division, spurring $5M in annual revenues.
Peter Skop sought new market opportunities. Created logistical framework
through agreements with worldwide manufacturers, brokers, and freight
forwarders to sell high-end carbon fiber bicycles and accessories. Annual
revenue growth approached 30-40%.
Revamped distribution and inventory management process, saving $400K
annually. Peter Skop had three stocking warehouses. Saw opportunity to
consolidate all inventory into one facility. Negotiated more favorable
freight contracts. Reduced carrying costs while still maintaining superior
customer service.
Created foundation for Product Strategy Planning committee, mitigating risk
for top products. Mylan single-sourced many top products. Initiated in-
depth risk mitigation project, working closely with Global Sourcing group.
Identified those at risk for being periodically out of stock. Findings
served as integral component in committee.
Bolstered Global Operations management decision making capability. Mylan
Global Operations was undergoing major restructuring. Created and
maintained new meeting cadence and structure for all group initiatives. New
format filtered down from Head of Global Operations to all direct-reporting
functional leaders.
Sourced and negotiated vendor purchase discounts, saving $100K annually.
Upon improvement of Peter Skop cash flow, saw opportunity to use additional
cash to take advantage of then available vendor purchase discounts.
Negotiated further to gain purchase discounts that were previously not

Director of Strategic Initiatives, Mylan, Inc., 2013-2014. Collaborated
with functional heads of Supply Chain, Strategic Manufacturing, Quality,
Operations Services, EH&S and Operational Excellence of global
pharmaceutical company to identify and drive strategic initiatives and
generate solutions through recurring meetings. Member of Product Strategy
Planning committee. Partner with Finance and HR to formulate and maintain
annual budgets for all functional areas. Member of Core Team creating and
maintaining product handbooks for top products
Director of Operations, Peter Skop Industries, Inc., 1993-2013. Full
oversight of all Operations functions including Supply Chain, Finance,
