the IT field for 20 years. I have also taught for 20 years

This position included not only work as a full-time classroom instructor,
but as the Network Administration Program Director as well! As the
Program Director, I was responsible for curriculum development, textbook
selection, and communicating with major Publishing companies about the
changing landscape of IT Certification, and the needs of the IT
Educational Community. I helped these Publishing companies by beta
testing both new textbook offerings, and new software based simulation
programs as well.
As the onsite support representative I was responsible for the daily
upkeep and administration of three separate network systems. I oversaw
the construction of, and implementation of a new, hands-on Network
Training Lab costing more than $400,000.
As both the Department Chair for the Network Administration Department,
Full-Time Instructor, and On-Site IT Administrator, I have been tasked
with completing multiple related and unrelated Projects at the same time
and have always been able to complete them all to the Highest Standards
with complete success! I have also been able to carry out this tasking
while monitoring a very strict budget, and have always found way to save
funds while still ensuring the best possible solution was utilized!

Conducted investigations into reports of Child Abuse and Neglect as
reported to the Florida Abuse Hotline. Worked closely with Local, State
and Federal Law Enforcement officials when criminal issues were found.
Worked closely with the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court Officials to ensure
the rights and needs of children entering the foster care system were
fully met!

Classroom Teacher, and as a Technology Coordinator.
As the Social Sciences Department Chair, I was responsible for
coordinating the instruction of World History, Physical and Cultural
Geography, and United States History. I was also responsible for the
integration of Economics, Sociology and Anthropology into each of those
fields of studies.
As the Technology Coordinator, I was responsible for the Design and
Construction of multiple Computer Labs, and technology Retro-fit Projects
for Networking three (3) schools. These projects included the Network
Design, selection of appropriate hardware and dealing with hardware
venders on the local and National level. I also oversaw the construction
and testing of these facility-wide projects until they were
satisfactorily operational.
I oversaw the Training of over 3,000 district staff in the latest
Technology Hardware and Software. This included all Office and
Productivity packages needed by Classroom Teachers and Support Staff.

Science Curriculum Development Expert; NOAA/University of Northern Iowa,

One of 13 Master Teachers chosen by the University of Northern Iowa and
NOAA to develop a National Meteorology Curriculum for Grades K-9. While
working with this group, I was responsible for the development of
"Real-Time" Weather units for the use of K-9 Classroom Teachers
nationwide. This involved working independently on classroom modules, and
working two to three weeks in the summer at UNI with the 12 other
Educators to integrate modules with materials and real-time data.
This was the first attempt by any group to establish a Standardized
Curriculum for Meteorology that was directed at Non-Post Secondary
Students. It also was the first attempt to utilize Real-Time Data that
would be available to any classroom anywhere in the country.

Airborne Electronic Warfare Operator; United States Navy, Various Naval

During my Naval Career, I served as both an Aviation Ordnance Technician
certified in both conventional and Nuclear Weapons handling and loading.
I was designated as Carrier Air Wing 17 Arming Supervisor for all
embarked aircraft models.
As an Airborne Electronic Warfare Operator, I was qualified as a Sensor
Station One Acoustic Operator and as a Sensor Station Three Non-Acoustic
Operator onboard
all models of the P-3C Orion Aircraft. I was also qualified as a
Multi-System Sensor Operator in LAMPS MK-1 and MK-3 Helicopters.
As an Airborne Electronic Warfare Operator, I utilized knowledge of
Soviet Block and Non-Soviet Block Submarine and Surface Naval Combatants
Weapons Systems, Electronic Warfare Systems, and Propulsion Systems to
locate, track and identify these various units and assess the potential
threat they posed to United States interests.
This assessment included evaluation of various systems installed onboard
these units and tactics normally employed in their utilization against
United States Naval, Air, and Land Forces.
I was required to utilize knowledge gained through Advanced Training
provided by various Naval Commands, Other Services Training Facilities,
and Civilian Contractors. This training included the use of and
interpretation of Satellite Imagery.
I was qualified as both a Conventional and Nuclear Weapons Crew Leader
for all Naval Aircraft attached to CVW-17 onboard the USS Forrestal
(CV-59). I was also qualified as a Helicopter Door Gunner Instructor for
HH-1K, SH-2F, and SH-60B helicopters.
I was responsible for providing Training to Students at the East-Coast
Maritime Patrol Training Squadron at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
I also served as a COMNAVAIRLANT NATOPS Evaluator for the P-3 Orion
Aircraft and the SH-2F LAMPS Mk-1 Helicopter. I served as a COMNAVAIRLANT
Search and Rescue Swimmer Evaluator for two LAMPS Mk-1 Helicopter
Squadrons.
