Read and interpret blue prints to determine the layout of system components, frame work, and foundations. Disassemble defective units, and repair or replace parts locks, gears,cables, and to select cables, and electric wiring. Participate in additional training to keep skills up to date. Connect car frames to counterweights, using steel cables. Bolt rails to walls of shafts. Assemble elevator cars installing each car platform, walls and doors. Install electrical wires.
